BY TRAIN

Durham Railway Station is approximately a 10-minute walk from Redhills. Durham is on the East Coast Main Line and has direct rail connections with destinations across the North East and many major UK cities. Taxis are available from the station

BY BUS

Durham Bus Station on North Road is approximately a 6-7 minute walk from Redhills and is served by local and regional bus services. The Wharton Park stop on North Road is also a short walk from Redhills and is served by Durham Park & Ride.

BY CAR

Parking at Redhills is extremely limited, so we encourage participants to use public transport, Durham Park & Ride or city-centre parking wherever possible. Metered on-street parking is available on Flass Street and there are public car parks elsewhere in Durham city centre

PARK & RIDE

Durham’s Park & Ride provides a convenient option for participants travelling by car. Services from Sniperley and Belmont stop at Wharton Park on North Road, a short walk from Redhills. Participants attending the Friday evening programme should check Park & Ride operating times when planning their journey home.
